Frisbii was positioned as a Niche Player in the previous edition of the report. The company views the move to the Visionaries quadrant as validation of its focus on European markets.
Frankfurt am Main, [August 26th, 2026] – Frisbii, a provider of an end-to-end platform for recurring billing, subscription management and payments headquartered in Frankfurt, has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. as a Visionary in the 2026 Magic Quadrant™ for Recurring Billing Applications. In the previous edition of the report, Frisbii was positioned as a Niche Player. Frisbii sees this development as a reflection of the continued development of its product suite and go-to-market strategy. The company serves more than 5,000 customers across Europe.
Founded in 2015, Frisbii offers its solution in nine European languages and provides a wide range of Europe-specific payment methods as well as e-invoicing. The application is built on European accounting principles and supports the automatic calculation of European sales taxes.
Frisbii’s fee optimization routes transactions automatically to the least expensive connected payment processor, and its AI-powered onboarding assistant supports new customers during implementation.
“To us, being named a Visionary in this year’s Gartner Magic Quadrant validates our strategy: Building for European recurring billing needs specifically, and investing in AI-native capability ahead of the market.” said David McGuinness, Chief Product Officer at Frisbii. “Moving from Niche Player to Visionary in a single cycle shows that strategy delivering. Our ambition is to become the leading European platform in this space.”
Frisbii serves subscription-based businesses across Europe, from SaaS and media companies to financial services and retail. The platform runs entirely on AWS, with customers able to choose data residency in either Ireland or Germany. To process payments, Frisbii offers its own integrated payment gateway with a wide range of local and global payment options. Additionally, customers can choose to connect over a dozen payment providers across Europe, giving them the flexibility to keep their current solutions or migrate to Frisbii. It can also be connected to a company’s existing systems and workflows, making it easy to fit into how businesses already operate.
